Print Sevices

Open Image use industry standard software and techniques to create print ready artwork.

We can directly supply your print requirements or work with your existing printers to deliver the final product.

Suprisingly, there is more than one option for professional print quality as described below:

Process Printing Press
Ideal for higher volumes (over 1,000 copies) This is the highest quality print that you can acheive. Also on low volumes, if you want the best quality possible then this is the option to choose.

All finishing options can be acheived with this including, laminating, spot varnishing, fold and trim, stitching, perfect binding, perforations, special shapes, large print sizes, ncr, continuous stationary, form pads, labels etc.

Digital Printing Press
A lower cost option for lower volumes (less than 1,000 copies). Produces a print quality almost as good as Process Printing.

Maximum size is limited to oversize A3.

Many finishing options are available, including binding, laminating trimming etc.

Spot colours are not available with this option.

Ink Jet Printing
Using high quality inkjet printers we create one off graphics for exhibitions, point of sale etc. A huge variety of materials are available to print on, giving excellent results. By using the right printers and materials we can acheive an output that far exceeds the quality and visual impact of process printed products.

On a few occasions we use ink jet printing for customers who require a very high qualiity but very low volume output. One of our customers only takes 50 business cards at a time. They last him about 2 years, however each time he hands one out, it is vital that he makes the right impression.

Mono Laser Printing
Some product catalogues work quite well in black and white print. Some of our clients operate niche market businesses where they deal with only a few high level customers. Their presentation is very important but process printing 50 catalogues at a time turns out a very expensive cost per catalogue and so we use an high quality mono laser printer to create low volume runs in black and white only, with a colour process printed binder.
